Worship at Holy Trinity
At Holy Trinity people of all ages, backgrounds and viewpoints gather to worship and encounter God together. We enjoy the diversity and creativity that this brings.
Worshipping God through music is particularly important to us and we are blessed by a large number of musicians and singers. Music at our services tends to be a mix of more traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs.
We aim to make our worship accessible for all. We use an induction loop for those who have a hearing aid, offer large print hymn books/song sheets and try to ensure our services are easy to follow and participate in.
You are very welcome to join us on a Sunday at either 11.00am or 6.30pm.
- @ 11.00am
This is our main Sunday service and caters for all ages. There is a creche for those with very young children. For part of the service there are separate activities for children and young people catering for those from 2½ up to 14 years old. These are held next door in the church hall. About once a month (and during school holidays) we hold all age services where we all worship God and learn together.
Generally this service follows the patterns found in the Common Worship resources for the Church of England. On the second and fourth Sundays of the month the service includes communion.
There are refreshments after every service.
- @ 6.30pm
This tends to be a more informal service and aims to experience God and explore the Bible more deeply and creatively.
On the third and fifth Sundays of the month the service includes communion.
Coffee and tea are served after every service.
