Now a fixture in Holy Trinity's calendar, the Alternative Christmas Gift Fair took place at the end of November. As ever, the aim of the fair was to highlight the range of Fair Trade and ethical gifts available in the run up to Christmas.
The snowy weather led to a few problems including a couple of stallholders being unable to join us, but there was still plenty on offer. We were joined by stallholders who have attended the fair for several years now (including Divine Chocolate, CLC Bookshop, Send a Cow and Children Alone) and it was great to be able to welcome some newer groups (Helena Goldie Hospital, SHE Thailand and Little Hathi). Holy Trinity members provided cakes and bakes that we were able to give away, along with Fair Trade tea, coffee and mulled wine.
