Children / Youth
We welcome children and young people from newborns up to adulthood. Here’s a flavour of what’s on for children and young people:
Weekly Groups
Sunday 11am Groups
The following groups meet @ 11am on Sunday alongside the morning service (except All Age Services when creche only)
- Creche (Parents/carers usually stay with their own children)
- Scramblers (2-and-a-half year olds – Reception)
- Climbers(Years 1-3)
- Explorers (Years 4-6)
- Pathfinders (Years 7-9)
Other Groups (term-time)
- CYFA (Years 10-13) Sunday, 6.30-8pm
- ORBIT (Years 7-13) Friday, 7.30-9.30pm
- Parent & Toddlers Friday, 9.30-11.30am
Various uniformed organisations and other groups also use the church hall (details available on request).
Special Events
We also put on occasional events throughout the year e.g.
- Family Fun Day
- 31st October Light Party
- Summer Holiday Club
- Youth trips and weekends.
Leaders
We are blessed by a fab bunch of leaders, who serve selflessly under the guidance of a full-time youth pastor. All leaders working with children and young people have references taken up and are CRB-cleared. We are always happy to chat with people exploring a call to serve in this vital part of the church’s ministry, or wishing to support in any other way.
